Ethafoam® is a closed-cell Polyethylene foam that is very strong, resilient and flexible. Its durability makes it ideal for preserving the integrity of just about any object as it can handle repeated shocks and impacts. In order to cushion and protect fragile items, Ethafoam® is cut into a suitable shape and size, creating a special cushioned housing for the ultimate level of protection during shipping or transport.
Whether your item weighs only a couple of pounds or a couple hundred pounds, Ethafoam® products are available in a variety of strengths and densities. Thanks to its strength and high load bearing characteristics, your packaging costs can be greatly reduced since it can be reused several and because it uses thinner and smaller amounts of foam than others.
The Mighty GigRig Rolling Rack System has been redesigned from the ground up. The roto molded design features a 7â° angled top with 14U steel rails, extra room in the back for cable connections and ample room for larger analog and digital mixers such as the Yamaha 01V96, Allen & Heath Mix Wizard, and Mackie Onyx. The deep design allows for up to 12U of vertical rack space (6U front rails, with 6U rear rack rails).
The cover can be used as a pedestal for the Mighty GigRig which places the mixer at proper mixing height. When packed, the cover will fit over installed XLR cable connectors (top or rear mounted). The Mighty GigRig includes four over-molded lift handles and four locking casters (locks both caster roll and caster swivel).
Additional inserts have been installed on the bottom platform that will accept pneumatic wheels for field applications. The following wheels can be purchased directly from Penn-Elcom 4585 8 inch casters.
